- Joan on the way the shortest ferry in North America (just 35 seconds) overlooks beautiful Toronto. The statue on the outside of Rogers Centre, where we stayed, greeted us with a giggle every time we returned to our hotel.

IRA draws some of the most brilliant minds in education. Ken Goodman and Frank Smith, the grandfathers of reading, graced us all with their presence and humor.
