We had the honor of speaking at the Florida Reading Association state conference. Imagine our horror arriving to record breaking heat, really high humidity and NO LUGGAGE! As we were browsing through our hotel’s gift shop hoping to find something to wear to speak in the next day, Gail’s daughter, Madeline, decided that if we couldn’t go in the bikini’s that were hanging on the wall (good decision!) then we could at least go incognito!
Look out Minnie!!
