In honor of Valentine’s Day, we thought we’d share her wonderful idea of “Heart Words” with you. Heart Words are high frequency words that we expect students to learn to recognize in their in reading and to spell correctly in their writing. They are words me know by heart! We have these words highlighted specially in our room and refer to the list often with students! Heart words….We LOVE this name of our most commonly used words! Fabulous!
