What a Wonderful World
This photo was taken last week of the classroom window of one of our new teachers, Anhsaly. The message is so poignant for the hopes and dreams of this wonderful teacher, new to our profession. We hope it resonates with your hopes and dreams as you kick off your new school year
Our friend Jamie has taken this song, “What a Wonderful World” and taught it to her students. She then took each phrase, and had her children write it on the bottom of a large piece of construction paper (example: “...I see fields of green….”) each child does a beautiful water color painting, illustrating their phrase. Framed and hung in the order of the song around the top of her classroom, it makes a beautiful border and year long display, reminding all that even when we are knee-deep in the trenches of day-to-day teaching…..it really is a wonderful world! Ahh Haa.
